The Railway Preservation Society of Ireland's Marble Tribesman tour on 8th April 2017 from Dublin to Galway and Kilkenny featured two class 071 locomotives with six Cravens carriages and a BR van. Locomotive No. 081 brought the tour into Kilkenny, where No. 088 was ready to run onto the other end for the return to Dublin. Both locomotives are seen at Kilkenny; a station that rarely sees one locomotive these days.
