The Swanage Railway ran a End of Southern Steam event on July 9th 2017 based around the regular timetable but using three steam locos. The final train of the day, the 16:40 from Swanage to Norden was triple headed by LSWR Drummond M7 No. 30053, Bullied Battle of Britain Pacific No. 34070 "Manston" and BR Standard 4 No. 80104 in its 2017 guise as No. 80146. Here the train, which included chalked inscriptions on the smokebox of the M7 is seen approaching Quarr Farm Crossing.
