Within a matter of weeks, scenes such as this will become a thing of the past with 'CrossCountry' due to retire their fleet of highly acclaimed HST's. Here at Ashley Hill, Class 43 power car No. 43007, being one of a number of power cars outshopped in historic liveries is photographed atop the 12:27 Plymouth-Glasgow service with classmate No. 43184 'Laira Diesel Depot-CrossCountry' bringing up the rear on a dull and overcast 17th August 2023.
