During the summer of 1995, the 60th anniversary of its construction, ex LMS Princess Royal pacific No. 46203 'Princess Margaret Rose' approaches Colwyn Bay with a charter along the North Wales Coast. The loco would come off the train at Llandudno Junction and travel 'light engine' to Holyhead for the return working, turning on the triangle at Valley enroute, in 1995.
