During the week of March 7-14, the loaded timer trains from Carlisle-Chirk (6J37) were re-timed to run overnight, arriving at the Kronospan in the early morning hours. The return empty trains then worked as 6C19 1206 Chirk-Carlisle, travelling south to Gobowen to run round, then returning north via Wrexham and Chester, thus giving enthusiasts the rare opportunity to view these trains in daylight. On March 11, Colas liveried No. 66843 approaches Gobowen with thirteen empty KFA wagons. This particular Class 66 has so far worked these trains exclusively since the switch of traction from the DRS Class 57s.
