On the very overcast afternoon of on 10th July 2010 LMS 4-6-0s numbered No. 45407 and 44871 work 1Z61, the 12.07 Newport to Manchester Victoria via the Heart of Wales line. The excursion had the name 'The Central Wales Explorer' and had started from Manchester Victoria diesel hauled. This image was taken between Pontardulais and the scheduled water stop at Pantyffynnon.
