Just days after being named at Plymouth Station, Class 47 No. 47567 'Red Star' is stabled at Gloucester Horton Road MPD on 20th July 1985. New as No. D1625 from Crewe Works in October 1964 and initially allocated to Toton (16A), it became No. 47044 under TOPS in October 1973. Its final identity was No. 47725, as such it was withdrawn in February 2003 and cut up by CF Booth of Rotherham during May 2006. Name changes were 'Red Star ISO 9002' in December 1993, 'The Railway Mission' in June 1995 and finally 'Bristol Barton Hill' in July 2001.
