A magnificent site, working flat out, 20 KFA wagons packed with logs in tow, the train is maintaining a speed of no more than 10 mph as it crosses Ais Gill viaduct tackling the long drag. The end is almost in sight however, after over 14 miles of constant climbing Ais Gill summit is little over half a mile away. The sun just being clipped by a cloud was not pleasing as this view of No. 66843 on 6J37 the 1250 Carlisle Yard - Chirk Kronospan would have looked so much more vibrant with full sun. The time is 1417 on Thursday 14th July 2011.
