Brush prototype (Class 53) diesel electric No. 1200 'Falcon' stands at the rear of the maintenance shed at Gloucester Horton Road MPD on 3rd October 1973. Allocated to Ebbw Junction at the time, the loco had arrived to undergo repairs using the wheel drop facility. New from Loughborough as No. D0280 in October 1961, it went on loan from the manufacturer to Stratford (30A). The loco was taken into capital stock during December 1970 and renumbered. It was withdrawn in October 1975 and cut up at Cashmores of Newport, during May 1976.
