English Electric No. 6607 heads a fine line-up of green-liveried Type 3 diesel electrics at Ebbw Junction MPD, Newport, on 11th July 1970. New from Vulcan Foundry in October 1965, it became Class 37 No. 37307 under TOPS in 1973 and then No. 37403 in June 1985. Prior to withdrawal during March 2000, the loco carried the name 'Isle of Mull' from January 1986 to November 1988, which was then changed to 'Glendarroch' until January 1994. It carried the name 'Ben Cruachan' from February 1994. The loco was saved for preservation and is owned by the Scottish Railway Preservation Society. It is awaiting overhaul at the Bo'ness and Kinneil Railway.
