In spite of fire-risk concerns which are curtailing some mainline steam excursions, BR Class 7 Pacific No. 70013 'Oliver Cromwell' is at the head of today's Cathedrals Express fom London Victoria to Bristol, albeit with WCR Class 47/2 No. 47237 providing front-end support to lessen the fire risk. The classic steam and diesel pairing are racing down the L&SW mainline through Andover five minutes ahead of schedule on Thursday 24th July 2014.
