LMS Black Five No. 44932 is seen near Askett village operating a shuttle service on the branch line between Princes Risborough and Aylesbury in connection with an Open Day at Aylesbury Depot on 25th April 1992. Pre-grouping the branch had the distinction of being a joint-joint line, being jointly owned and operated by the GW and GC (the modern Chiltern line) and the Metropolitan and GC joint lines. It still sees passenger services, currently disrupted by construction work for the HS2 southern route which cuts through its run in to Aylesbury.
