Chart Leacon Depot was the location for events celebrating 150 years of railways at Ashford in Kent on 6th June 1992. Class 73/1 electro-diesel No. 73126 'Kent and East Sussex Railway' was employed operating a shuttle to the depot, working in multiple with 4-Vep EMU No. 3449.
