WCR Class 47/7 No. 47746 is in charge of the ECS movement from Southall to Bristol on 11th September 2015 in preparation for the following day's Cheshireman excursion. Viewpoint is the approach to the elderly plate-girder overbridge by the erstwhile Shrivenham station. Work is under way to replace this bridge with something more modern and likely less photographer-friendly ready for GW mainline electrification.
