The Bulmer Cider Train was an early feature of steam preservation on the main line but the stock was also used in the 1970s with diesel haulage. Here the Strongbow Express is travelling fast behind Class 47/0 No. 47185 on the down main line through Slough past the Honeywell Systems head office on 5th May 1977. The Horlicks factory with its tall brick chimney is prominent on the skyline.
